Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas!

That is a song my creative 3 year-old made up and just one of many festive songs I heard him sing repeatedly throughout the Christmas holiday. Some of his favorites were Jingle Bells and Santa Clause is Coming to Town (which he did not sing ever so loudly in Wal-Mart today when he saw what was left of the Christmas items that remained on the shelves).

This year was extra exciting because he REALLY got into the holiday. It was a treat to see his face light up at the mention of Santa Clause or seeing Christmas decorations while we were driving. His eyes would get so wide and his smile so big when he saw Santa Clause in a store, even though it took a few times before he would actually go up to Santa, let alone sit with him. That was another first. Up until this year he would not have anything to do with Santa. All in all, this has been the best Christmas by far for us, though a busy one!! We had Christmas Eve dinner at my parents' with all of my dad's family. We opened presents at our house Christmas morning and then headed to my in-laws for the rest of the day. Then we headed back to my parents' the day after Christmas to open presents with my mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, and niece.

I think I took well over 200 pictures in the span of three days. I have included a few of my favorites to share with you all. Hope you all had as Wonderful a Christmas as I did.
