This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
It's been a while since I've posted a Not Me Monday...well, it's been a while since I posted anything really, but my little boy has had a few GREAT moments in the last week and a half so I couldn't go without posting one today!!
When my fully potty-trained 3 year old son went to the bathroom last week, he did not decide it would be better to pee on my shower curtain hanging in front of our tub than to use the potty like he always does. Not my little boy! He knows that shower curtains are used to keep water out of the floor when we take a shower and the potty is where we "do our business".
It was also not my son, who when slung over his dad's arm and carried over to one of my husband's cousins, that accidentally let one rip right when he got close to her face. My child knows it is impolite to "toot" (as he calls it) in front of people, let alone in their faces.
When he was riding in the car with me the other day, it was not my son who looked out the window and said "stupid cars". He knows it is rude to use words like that and he would never call those cars on the road or his toys at home stupid because he is a good child and knows that is an impolite word.
Lastly, it was not my child who decided he really needed to "go" while playing outside at my mom and dad's, then preceded to go to the edge of the porch (where every car passes), pull his shorts and underwear all the way to the ground, and pee in her driveway. Not my child! He knows he needs to be modest and that we shouldn't just pull our pants down where anybody who comes by can see us because that is not a nice thing to do at all. So that could not have been my son.
On another note, Hope everybody had a wonderful and safe Labor Day!!
